Colombia Huila Yellow Bourbon - the name is fun to say, but unfortunately it does not contain bourbon! Yellow bourbon is an old heirloom variety, and the trees don’t live long and they don’t produce a lot of beans. It seems like a lot of hassle for some coffee but the taste is why it is worth it. This washed process microlot came from the Huila region from a 10 farmer co-op. They banded together together to increase their yield and marketing power. This yellow bourbon coffee has notes of yellow plum and raisins, as well as caramel and pear flavors.
